Under 11 Girls Win Lisburn Ladies Tournament

A tremendous effort by the Under 11 squad of Lauren Perry, Danielle Connolly, Kathryn Cousins, Connie Burtney, Jessica Fennell, Olivia McDonagh and captain Aine Smyth saw them win the Lisburn Ladies 6 A Side Tournament at the Omniplex tonight.
In the Group stages victories over Crusaders ( 3-1 , 3-0 ) and Lurgan ( 6-0 , 4-0 ) saw them face Carnmoney in the semi final. A hard fought game saw them score the only goal to advance to the final. Their opponents in the final were Glentoran and a super game was served up by both teams with Ballynahinch running out 3-1 winners with two goals from Aine Smyth and one from Olivia McDonagh.
Congratulations to Lisburn Ladies for a well organised tournament played in a great sporting manner.
